Ingredients
- 60 ML Rahasya Vodka
- 60 ML Espresso Coffee
- 15 ML Coffee Liqueur (optional)
- 20 ML Star Anise Syrup
- 8 Star Anise (for the star anise syrup)
- 300 GM Sugar (for the star anise syrup)
- Coffee Beans
- 500 ML Water
- Ice Cubes
Procedure
For the Star Anise Syrup:
- In a pan, add water and star anise. Boil it for about 10 minutes
- Now, add sugar, as per the required sweetness, to the pan
- Stir the mixture until the sugar dissolves completely
- Set the pan aside until the syrup cools down
- Store the syrup in a bottle or a jar and refrigerate
For the cocktail:
- Place your martini glass or coupe glass in the fridge to chill
- Now, take a cocktail shaker and add some ice cubes. Pour Rahasya Vodka, espresso coffee, coffee liqueur (if using), star anise syrup into the cocktail shaker
- Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously for about 30 seconds or until the shaker has frosted
- Double strain the drink into your chilled Martini glass or coupe glass
- To garnish, add a few coffee beans and/or star anise
- Serve chilled
You can play with the proportion of Rahasya vodka and other liquid ingredients to adapt it to suit your taste and make it as boozy as you would like.
