Top 5 Summer Cocktails to Drink

Summer – the season of heat, holidays, vacations, trips to the beach, and of course, refreshing drinks! As Indians, we have grown up with delicious cool concoctions that would keep us hydrated and help us beat the heat. But as an adult, it’s no secret that most of us have replaced a refreshing summer drink with refreshing summer cocktails!

Now the best summer cocktails are those that have the perfect balance of summery flavours, loads of ice and of course, your favourite Rahasya Vodka.

And if you’re on the lookout for such summer drink recipes, then well, your search ends here. Here are 5 of our favourite refreshing cocktails!

1. The Screwdriver

The best summer drinks are those that are easy to make and easier to enjoy. When it comes to cocktails, no drink does it better than the humble Screwdriver. All you need is some ice, oranges and Rahasya Vodka, and you can create as many glasses as you like! Whether it’s a summer party at your place or you’re headed to the beach – the possibilities are endless, and happiness is guaranteed!

  • 1 large or 2 small oranges
  • 1 clementine
  • 50ml vodka
  • Few dashes of Angostura bitters
  • A handful of ice cubes
  • A wedge of orange

2. The Moscow Mule

If drinks with crushed ice top your list of summer drinks (gola lovers, we’re looking at you), few cocktails do it better than the Moscow Mule. Remember to keep your copper mugs handy, tho. Copper is great at conducting temperature, so when an ice cold mule is poured in it, it keeps the drink frosty cold longer. Perfect for the summers, wouldn’t you agree?

  • 50ml vodka
  • Crushed ice
  • 150-200ml ginger beer
  • Few dashes of ginger bitters

3. Chi Chi

Nothing says ‘tropical’ more than pineapple. Nothing says summer more than a serving of Chi Chi! A spin on the beloved Piña Colada with vodka, this summer drink that’s just as tasty as the classic. It’s so easy to make it too: throw it all in a blender and blend it up! The flavor comes out smooth, tropical and refreshing, making it the perfect summer cocktail for you.

  • 50ml vodka
  • 75ml pineapple juice
  • 30ml cream of coconut
  • Garnish: pineapple slice
4. Cucumber, Basil and Lime Gimlet

Summers and cucumbers go hand in hand, and as luck would have it, they have found a way into our cocktails as well! The Cucumber, Basil & Lime Gimlet not only gives your summer drink a boost of freshness but considering it replaces gin with vodka, it makes for the ideal warm-weather cocktail.

Herbal notes, fresh produce and refreshingly delicious – what’s not to love?

  • 2 slices cucumber (1/4-inch slices)
  • 1 1/2 fresh basil leaves (large)
  • 50ml vodka
  • 30ml lemonade
  • 5ml lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • Garnish: basil leaf
5. Sea Breeze

The name itself hits you like a wave of freshness, so you can only imagine how great the feeling will be when you sip on this on a hot summer day! It’s made with all your classic summer ingredients like berries, grapefruit and lime for a truly refreshing summer cocktail – so you can be rest assured that it guarantees an endless supply of coolness for your body, and your soul!
